All-Ukrainian public organization “Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors” held a conference in Illichivsk (Odessa region) on May 21-23, 2010. The heads of local bodies of the Association, the heads and members of the executive committee were invited to join the conference.

    The subject – “Development methods and prospective ways for activities of the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors local bodies” – aroused the ultimate interest of the delegates who took an active part in this event.

    
     During the three plenary meetings our colleagues from different parts of the country have had the opportunity to find out about the current developments in public prosecutors organizations all over the world, have received full information about the results of inspection of the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors activity, and have effectively discussed the methods of development and the prospective ways for the Association’s activities in the nearest future.

     The attention of the delegates was also drawn to a range of organization matters related to the activity of UAP local bodies. The achieved status of legal entity of the local body of the Association, the payment and expenditure of the membership fees, the order of receipt and expenditure of the charity funds, entering and quitting the membership in the Association were among them.

     The conference participants’ interest, their active attitude and professional skills were proved by a heated discussion of the cooperation with mass media, using the own information resources and direct contacts with people being the prospective ways for improvement of the activities meant for sustaining the good image of prosecution and prosecutors. The conference participants have defined the necessity of essential quality improvement of the activities related to the rights and interests protection of those who work or used to work in the prosecution bodies as one of the most urgent and important tasks.

     It has become a tradition for the conference participants not only to work hard but to have a wonderful opportunity of warm and friendly communication as well as visiting one of the most bright and successful towns in Odessa region.
