Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors continues to encourage scientific activity.
Assistance to the scientific activity of the members of Association, the establishment and maintenance of close business contacts with students and attendees of the National Academy of Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine is one of the most important statutory tasks of the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors.
The Association develops interesting and fruitful mutual relations with Students’ Scientific Association of the National Academy of Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, which is headed at the present moment by the magistrate Yuliya Usenko.
In particular, on May, 30, 2008 an interuniversity scientific practical Conference of students, cadets, post-graduates and young scientists was held in the office of the National Academy of Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine, on the theme «Counteraction to criminality: theory and practice». The Conference was organized by the National Academy of Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, Students’ Scientific Association and the Council of the scientific association of these educational institutions.
On the request of organizers of the Conference the member of the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors, senior prosecutor of Main Department of Military Prosecutor's Offices of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, colonel of justice, candidate of law Mykola Turkot took part in its work. Mykola Turkot enlightened in his interesting and informative scientific report the problematic issues of legal regulation of law-enforcement activity.
The Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors, within the framework of cooperation with Student Scientific Association, has already carried out at its own expense the financing of participation of students of the National Academy of Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine in the scientific conference, held in Lviv. We will continue to provide highest possible support for realization of scientific aspirations of the student youth, members of the Association and employees of prosecuting bodies of Ukraine.
