On February 24, 2015, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Mr. Viktor Shokin held a meeting with the President of the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors Mr. Oleksandr Shynalskyi.

During the meeting they discussed questions about an activity of public prosecutors’ organizations in Ukraine and abroad.  Also attention was paid to participation of prosecutors’ society in foundation of the bodies of prosecutors’ self-governing, in preparation of a new edition of the Code of Professional  Ethics, in creation of new symbols  of prosecutor's office and in work with young prosecutors.

The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Mr. Viktor Shokin mentioned importance of dynamic activity of public prosecutors’ organizations and their support in reformation of public prosecution office of Ukraine.

The President of IAP Oleksandr Shynalskyi informed the Prosecutor General of Ukraine about the Association’s activity, its plans for the year 2015 and also invited to take part in the General Meeting of the Association that would take place on the 14th of March, 2015.
