With the support of the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors in the period from June 24 to July 7, the prosecutor of the Kyiv Local Prosecutor's Office No. 1 Valeria Melnyk took part in the 3rd Specialization Course for Junior Prosecutors (SCJP), organized by Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights (Siracusa International Institute), together with the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP).

 This event gathered prosecutors from 25 countries of the world. The theme of the specialization course was "International Criminal Justice and International Cooperation in Criminal Matters". The course covered relevant issues of mutual legal assistance to prosecutors in the areas of international criminal law, international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
