The Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors greets a decision of the President and of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to assign Mr. Shokin Viktor Mykolaiovych to the post of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

    In this difficult time for our country such a person – a professional from the capital letter – has an ability to bring public prosecution bodies of Ukraine up to qualitatively new and higher level and to make public prosecutor’s office a state organ which will really defend Law and human rights.

    We are sure that Viktor Mykolaiovych Shokin can win back trust in public prosecution bodies and respect from society.

    The Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors will deliver any assistance needed in his hard and very important in such a hard time work.
