On June 26-29, 2011, the 16th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors took place in Seoul, South Korea. The theme of this year’s IAP Annual Conference is “Prosecution as a Public Service”.

 440 delegates from 102 countries took part in the Conference.

During 4 days of the Conference there were many interesting issues discussed, like Fundamental Duties and Responsibilities of Prosecution Services and Extending the Public Role of Prosecution Services, etc.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine delegated to the Conference their representatives headed by the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Udartsov. The Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors also delegated its members headed by the President of UAP Oleksandr Shynalskyi.

The delegations’ leaders and their members held a number of bilateral meetings with delegations of the prosecution bodies and public associations of prosecutors from other countries.
