The visit was made on the invitation of Reuben Candia Amarilli, the General Prosecutor of the Republic. The problems of crime prevention, arrangements of the prosecution’s activities, independence of the prosecutors have been discussed in the course of meeting with the General Prosecutor of the Republic of Paraguay, Mr Reuben Candia Amarilli. Ukrainian prosecutors learned about the Prosecution’s structure and methods in the Republic of Paraguay, they met with the heads of Prosecution structure departments. The UAP delegates had a meeting with the representatives of the Association of Prosecutors of Paraguay.

     Such issues as cooperation, information exchange, studying both countries’ prosecutions’ work experience have been discussed there. To complete the visit, the memorandum of cooperation between the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors and the Association of Prosecutors of the Republic of Paraguay was signed.
