On September 17, 2019, a bilateral meeting of delegates of the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors and the Association of Prosecutors of the Republic of Paraguay took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 During the meeting, parties discussed the results of cooperation over the last 5 years and agreed plans for further work. The Vice President of the Association of Prosecutors of the Republic of Paraguay, Mr. Alfirio Gonzalez Sandoval, presented the President of the UAP Oleksandr Shynalskyi with an Honourable distinction for strengthening cooperation between the associations of prosecutors of Ukraine and Paraguay.

On September 18, 2019, the General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 The meeting elected new members of the Executive Committee and a new IAP President. For the next three years, Mr. Cheol-Kyu Hwong, the Chief Prosecutor of Busan High Prosecutor's Office, Korea, has been elected the President of the International Association of Prosecutors.

 The First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Vitaliy Kasko is a member of the IAP Executive Committee from Ukraine.

On September 19, 2019 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the 24th IAP Annual Conference ended its work

 On September 19, 2019 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the 24th Annual Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors ended its work.

 During the conference, delegates of the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors received important and meaningful information on ways and measures in combating various forms of crime. There was an exchange of experience and information with colleagues from other countries. The Ukrainian delegates held bilateral meetings with colleagues from the USA, Canada, Brazil, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Australia to discuss specific cooperation issues.

 The members of the UAP also informed colleagues from other countries of the world about changes in the legislation of Ukraine that regulates the activity of the prosecuting authorities.

 During the meeting with the IAP management, they discussed the possibility of organizing thematic regional conferences in Ukraine.
